BBC Gibraltar Strait Swim

Our group from the Balmoral Beach Club, will attempt to swim from Spain to Morocco across the Straits of Gibraltar on or around the 14th September. We are a keen group of ocean swimmers who have swum in many different countries over the past 10 years or so. After dedicated training we are now up for the challenging swim from Spain to Morocco, with the team including, Denise Elder, Jan Davies, Jenny Hole, Jack Stening, Jon Attwater, James Arnold, Peter MacCormick and Tony Bostock.

Hi Guys

I must applaud your better judgement and selection of swim, Spain looks so much more inviting than Dover. In fact our team have just seen your photos and are in the process of packing and will be on the next plane to Gibralta!!

We are all thinking of you and wishing you calm seas and a warm day for your swim. Swim well and enjoy it.
